Description
Delta Companies seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to deliver high-quality musculoskeletal care within a leading Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you’ll perform comprehensive evaluations, manage acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, and perform surgical procedures such as joint replacement, fracture repair, and arthroscopy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team focused on evidence-based practice, integrity, and accountability. Conduct orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacement, fracture repair, and arthroscopic procedures
Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic tests to guide clinical and surgical decisions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
Provide post-operative care, including follow-up visits, rehabilitation oversight, and complication management
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and comply with regulatory standards
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and recovery expectations
Participate in quality improvement, clinical protocols, and best-practice initiatives within the organization
Orthopedic surgical techniques (joint replacement, fracture fixation, arthroscopy)
Musculoskeletal physical examination and diagnosis
Interpretation of imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound)
Pre-operative and post-operative patient management
Management of orthopedic trauma and fractures
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation
Pain management in orthopedic patients
Multidisciplinary care coordination
Evidence-based clinical decision-making

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS or equivalent)
Valid, unrestricted medical license in the practicing state
Completion of ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
Fellowship training in orthopedic subspecialty (e.g., sports, joints, trauma) preferred
Active DEA registration
BLS and ACLS certification
Credentialing with hospital/ambulatory surgery centers as required
