We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. The schedule involves two weeks per month, balancing 2.5 clinic days with 2.5 operating room days weekly, with full-time options available. Responsibilities include managing fracture care, performing hemiarthroplasties, hip pinning, arthroscopy, and various total joint replacements.Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct 2.5 clinic days and utilize 2 days per week for designated operating room block time.
• Provide fracture care.
• Perform hemiarthroplasty (partial hip replacement) and hip pinning (internal screw fixation).
• Conduct arthroscopic procedures.
• Perform total joint replacements for hip and knee.
• Execute joint revision or repair for shoulder, hip, and knee.
• Manage call schedule while maintaining clinic patient care, supported by an advanced practice provider.

• EMR: Epic
• Setting: Clinic and Call
• Call Schedule: Out of house call, with an advanced practice provider available for assistance.
• Patient Volume: Surgeons typically see 10 to 20 minute appointments, potentially 25-28 patients on a clinic day. Surgery-only days allow scheduling cases based on surgeon discretion and case type.
• LOA: 60 Days
• Shift Hours: Shifts typically 8 hours, with 24-hour call responsibilities.
