Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Missouri Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an Orthopaedic Surgeon for a 90-day assignment in Missouri, starting Aug 25, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive orthopaedic surgery services, including arthroscopy, total joint replacement, tendon repair, and spinal surgeries. The Physician will manage approximately 10 patients per shift in a department, with call duties averaging 5 phone consults, 4 patients seen, and 4 admissions per 24-hour period. Responsibilities and Duties Perform arthroscopy and total joint replacements for hip, knee, and shoulder. Conduct tendon release and repair procedures. Execute peripheral nerve surgery. Perform spinal surgeries including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar with instrumentation. Carry out percutaneous disc surgery. Provide orthopaedic surgery services, seeing approximately 10 patients per shift. Maintain a 30-minute response time for call duties. Manage an average of 5 phone consults, 4 patients seen, and 4 admissions during a 24-hour call period. Additional Information Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery. EMR: Cerner.
