Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Permanent license required Certifications: BLS, PALS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Extensive experience preferred in pediatric surgical settings. - Proficiency in using various arthroscopy systems, instrumentation, and implants. - Ability to scrub and circulate in multiple service lines. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in pediatric operating room duties. Candidates must have experience floating between different operating room locations. The role includes working 40 hours per week with variable shifts. Candidate must be comfortable with potential short call duties. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Primary responsibilities involve scrubbing and circulating for various surgical procedures. The main service line will focus on orthopedics and sports medicine. Candidates should have experience with orthopedic trauma cases and arthroscopies. The nurse will also serve as a preceptor, providing teaching and support to staff and new team members. COVID-19 vaccination is required with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccination is also mandated with the same exemption criteria.
