We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide part-time locum coverage in Maine. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic and OR work with a well-supported outpatient-focused practice in a rural hospital setting.

Schedule

• 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend
• Part-time: 6–8 days per month
• Coverage is typically completed in 1–2 consecutive weeks per month
• Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days
• No weekends, no call

Practice Details

• Combination of clinic and OR work
• EMR: Meditech
• Support staff – MA on clinic days, full support when in OR
• Cases – Total joints- knees, hips, shoulders, rotator cuff repair, hip injections, arthroscopy of knees, carpal tunnel release
• Must have an active ME license or IMLC and BC by the ABOS
