Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - Orthopedic Location: Maine Employer: Austin Major Group Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide part-time locum coverage in Maine. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic and OR work with a well-supported outpatient-focused practice in a rural hospital setting. Schedule 6-month 1099 locum assignment with option to extend Part-time: 6–8 days per month Coverage is typically completed in 1–2 consecutive weeks per month Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days No weekends, no call Practice Details Combination of clinic and OR work EMR: Meditech Support staff – MA on clinic days, full support when in OR Cases – Total joints- knees, hips, shoulders, rotator cuff repair, hip injections, arthroscopy of knees, carpal tunnel release Must have an active ME license or IMLC and BC by the ABOS
